Referencing
editPikidewia - I note the very many sources now at this draft, so many that it has become bloated and very difficult to establish which ones are intended to support notability. If you could identify 3 to 5 of your sources that are reliable, independent and discuss the subject (rather than passing mentions) that would help enormously in assesing this draft. Any source that quotes the subject directly or is clearly based on an interview is not considered independent, nor are any press releases or social media sources. Some of these sources MAY be used to verify facts in the bulk of the article but they don't establish notability.
If you could list here, on this talk page, the references used in the Draft that, in yoir view, establish notability, that would be very helpful. Velella Velella Talk 14:07, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
- I will reduce the number of references, i.e. from subject's official site and social media. But at the same time, please don't be too nitpicky as the subject falls into quite a specific category of a "contemporary rock/metal band frontmen" or whatever you call it. Look up similar articles like Howard Jones (American singer), Matt Heafy, Jacoby Shaddix, etc. A lot of information comes from interviews and press release sources, which can't be found anywhere else. - The test here is outlined at WP:SINGER. Other articles do slip through with inadequate referencing (see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS) but they may be deleted via WP:AFD. Velella Velella Talk 10:39, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
