This leaves out the the pro-cure advocates who believe that autism is caused by vaccinations, mercury or other environmental factors.

I've seen pro-cure arguments that say that a cure would good because it would benefit people without autism. Also those who wish to cure only "low-functioning" autists; if you count those as pro-cure. Clr324 (talk) 17:02, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. Functioning labels are largely irrelevant at least in the context of this Wikipedia article. I just used it as an example in order to show that generalizations aren't always good. I'm sorry, I just dislike some generalizations. Clr324 (talk) 21:07, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
