I just created a page for Ann Munday, a notable executive in the American and UK music publishing industry. There was a previous page for her that was clusmy and promotional, created by someone who didn't know what they were doing. I started this page from scratch. With some of these sources, I may have to find hard copies. It may take me a few months to get the full interviews and profiles of Ann Munday. I will update this draft from time to time. I hope to have it ready for a review and appreciate any feedback.
Here are some of the references I'm researching:
COSMOPOLITAN - Women in the Record Industry Susan Price-Root November 1982 (ISSN 0010-9541)
Music Week (a UK music trade magazine, like Billboard) March 19, 1977 Chrysalis Music’s first lady
Songplugger, March 1991
Munday was profiled in the book, She Bop II: The Definitive History of Women in Rock, Pop and Soul (Bayou Press)
I was finally able to obtain the full book, She Bop II and will be including quotes about why Munday was included in the profile and interview of notable women in the Music Industry. Most of the book is about performers, singers, and musicians, but there is a section for women who rose to senior management positions. She's one of only x number of women in the category.
I was also able to get the full article in COSMOPOLITAN - Women in the Record Industry which explains why Munday was included with a profile and interview. I'll include quotes.
