Rowshan Hamid(Bengali: রওশন হামিদ;) (born May 23, 2008) is a Bangladeshi student and budding poet. He is known for his passion for poetry and his mathematical prowess.
Early Life and Education
editRowshan Hamid was born in Chittagong, Bangladesh, to Abdul Mathin and Shalina Aktar. He has two sisters, Jannatun Nur and Arfatun Nur, and one brother named Abdul Karim.
Jabir's early education began at Moddho Ilsh Primary School in 2015. In 2020, he was admitted to Nasirabad Government High School in class 5 after passing an admission test,with significant support from his mother Shalina Aktar and uncle Abdul majid( who is a teacher of Nasirabad Government High School).He is also a BNCC Cadet from 2022 .
Family Background
editJabir's father, Abdul Mathin, is a businessman who established the Boni Hassan Eye sheba foundation Hospitalin Chittagong in 1982. His mother, Shalina Aktar, is a housewife.His grandfather Sayd Nurun Nabi was a notable freedom fighter in the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War and previously served as an army officer in East Pakistan. The family hails from Rowshan Fakir Bari in Ilsha Mouza, Banshkhali Upazila.
Literary Contributions
editJabir has a deep-seated passion for poetry, which he describes as his addiction. He has written numerous poems, with his notable work "রণ-প্রাণ" being published in the Nasirabad Government High School magazine in 2024.
Personal Interests
editAside from poetry, Rowshan finds solace in listening to music. He also has a strong affinity for mathematics, which he enjoys studying.
