Yew Hill is a prominence 210m above sea level approx. 1Km.North West of Compton in Olivers Battery, Commuity Parish Winchester District,in Hampshire..[1]A covered reservoir with water pumped to it from Otterbourne water works is located at Yew Hill.[2]. [3]. Silkstead Lane runs alongside Yew Hill.[4]. A Butterfly Conservation area has been established at Yew Hill.[5]
