Yelena is a fictional character and anti-villain featured in Hajime Isayama's manga series, Attack on Titan. In the franchise, Yelena devoted follower of Zeke Jaeger who strongly opposes the Marleyan's way of order, best distinguished by her tall height and masculine features. Viewing herself as a heroic figure, Yelena strongly believed Eldians like herself were responsible for the majority of the world's problems, including the Titan conflict, and therefore wanted to help Zeke carry out his plan of ridding the world of Eldian's -- with the intent of leaving her own mark on history. In the anime adaptation, she is voiced by Mitsuki Saiga, and by Anairis Quinones in the English version.

Yelena's character was created, designed, and conceived by Hajime Isayama for the final parts of the Attack on Titan manga series. She served as one of the series' main antagonists during the final arcs of the storyline, and eventually a main character of importance. Yelena's characterization has been widely praised by television critics for her intimidating presence and her overall role in the series, with many citing her hidden backstory as one of her character's highlights.[1]
