Wrestle Square[1] is an Indian professional wrestling promotion[2][3] founded in 2015 by Vinayak Sodhi[4]. Wrestle Square also operates a wrestling school called JWS, with Vinayak Sodhi and Jeet Rama as coaches.[5][6]
History
editFormation and Early Years (2015-2017)
editWrestle Square was established in Noida, Uttar Pradesh,[7] with the aim of providing a platform for Indian wrestlers and promoting professional wrestling as a mainstream sport in India. The promotion's inaugural event in 2015 was well-received, laying the foundation for future events. Baliyan Akki[8] was a founding member until he pursued a wrestling career in Japan.[9][10][11][12]
