Wolf Creek is a tributary of the Bear Creek. It flows through Hamilton and Stanton Counties, and into Grant County where it converges with the Bear Creek.[1] An ephemeral stream will briefly flow after heavy rains or snowmelt around the watershed.[2] There are several small storage dams that land owners formed along the creek to hold water mainly for wildlife and cattle with the exception of a few dams holding or diverting water onto adjacent farm ground for localized crop flooding.
