WebWork Time Tracker is a time tracking software designed to manage and monitor remote work and employee performance.[1][2] The software uses various employee monitoring techniques to track user time and activity.[citation needed]

The company was founded in 2016 by an Armenian software company Evistep Enterprise, particularly the CEO Vahagn Sargsyan and his team.[citation needed] Initially developed to improve project management and time management in their own team, they later released the software to the public.[2] In 2022, the company was separated from Evistep and registered in Delaware, US as an independent company WebWork Time Tracker, Inc. Now it is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and operates a second office in Yerevan, Armenia.

The first version of WebWork Time Tracker was released for Windows, Mac, and Linux.[citation needed] In 2020, the mobile version of the software was released for iOS and Android devices.[citation needed] In the same year, the company introduced the feature of attendance tracking and a Chrome Extension tracker.[citation needed]
In April 2022, WebWork launched its built-in Team Chat and Video Meetings aimed at keeping communication within the tracker.[3] The company also provides eave and holiday management for human resource management.[4][non-primary source needed]
