The War over Mountainous Armenia was a military conflict that lasted between April 26, 1921, to July 13, 1921[1][2]. It was fought between the Republic of Mountainous Armenia, the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic, and Turkish nationalist volunteers[3]. It was initiated after the February Uprising, a coup stationed in Yerevan by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation which was meant to overthrow the Communist government, but ultimately failed.
