Ventana Micro Systems is a fabless semiconductor company and provider of commercial RISC-V processor IP and silicon chips based on the RISC-V instruction set architecture (ISA). The company aim to offer high-performance, extensible and secure compute chiplets based on RISC-V’s open architecture. Ventana is a Premier Member of RISC-V International and part of its Technical Steering Committee.[1] A core part of the team at Ventura arrived from Veloce Technologies where they participated in pioneering high performance 64-bit Arm processors for data centers.

Ventana Micro Systems Inc. was founded in California in 2018, by Balaji Baktha and Greg Favor. A core part of the team at Ventura arrived from Veloce Technologies where they participated in pioneering high performance 64-bit Arm processors for data centers.[2] 2022 Ventana launched a server class RISC-V cpu.[3]
