Venom is an American superhero film series based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The series consists of three films: Venom, released in 2018, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, released in 2021 and Venom: The Last Dance, set to be released in 2024.
The films are produced by Columbia Pictures, Marvel Entertainment, Tencent Pictures, Arad Productions, Matt Tolmach Productions, Pascal Productions, Hutch Parker Entertainment and Hardy, Son & Baker, with Sony Pictures Releasing obtaining the rights for the films.

Venom (2018)
editVenom is a 2018 American superhero film directed by Ruben Fleischer, featuring the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The film is produced by Columbia Pictures, in association with Tencent Pictures, Marvel, Arad Productions, Matt Tolmach Productions, and Pascal Pictures, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing.
The film introduces Venom, an alien symbiote and Eddie Brock, an investigative journalist and the host of Venom. Eddie is trying to take down Carlton Drake, the notorious and brilliant founder of the Life Foundation. While investigating one of Drake's experiments, Eddie's body merges with the alien Venom; leaving him with superhuman strength and power. Twisted, dark and fueled by rage, Venom tries to control the new and dangerous abilities that Eddie finds so intoxicating.
The film was released on October 5, 2018.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)
editVenom: Let There Be Carnage, the second film, was released on October 1, 2021, taking place after the events of the first film. The film was directed by Andy Serkis.
After a failed public execution, deranged serial killer Cletus Kasady becomes the host to an alien symbiote, Carnage. In order to stop Cletus and Carnage from making a killing spree, Venom and Eddie must put aside their differences to stop their reign of terror.
Venom: The Last Dance (2024)
editVenom: The Last Dance is the third and last film of the Venom film series. The film is directed by Kelly Marcel, who served as the screenplay writer for the first and second film.
The film is scheduled to be released on October 25, 2024.
