Vardan Khachatryan is a plastic surgeon, member of the Russian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (ROPRS) [1], a recognized innovator in the field of aesthetic medicine.

Born in the city of Sevan, April 16, 1981.
In 1985, the family emigrated to Kuban, to the village of Tenginskaya, Ust-Labinsk district, Krasnodar region.

1988-1998 studied at secondary school number 14 of the Ust-Labinsk district, and was awarded a gold medal for excellent academic achievements. During his school years, he was a prize-winner of Olympiads in Russian language, chemistry and algebra, and was one of the top three.
In 1998, he entered the budgetary education of the medical faculty of the Kuban State Medical Academy (now Kuban State Medical University), which he successfully completed in 2004. Further, from 2004 to 2010, internship, residency, postgraduate study at the Department of Surgery, Urology, Traumatology, Kuban State Medical Academy on the basis of the emergency hospital in Krasnodar.
6 courses at the university and 6 years of postgraduate education were completed on a budgetary form of education for excellent success.
In 2010-2011 passed certification at the Russian Scientific Center for Surgery named after Academician Petrovsky in the specialty “Plastic Surgery” under the guidance of Academician Nikolai Milanov, and thus began the journey in plastic surgery.

In 2001, as a 4th year student, he began working as a nurse in the intensive care unit of the Regional Hospital No. 1 named after. Ochapovsky (KKB No. 1) in the city of Krasnodar.
He began his career working with critically ill patients after various surgical procedures. For 2.5 years he worked at 1.5 times the rate in the clean and purulent intensive care unit. Moreover, at the same time he studied with excellent marks at a medical university.
Also, in parallel during these years, as a student, he assisted emergency elective surgery and oncology surgeons.
The love for the profession appeared at the age of 10, when, after a leg injury, a purulent infection developed, after which he underwent a series of operations. Surgeons miraculously saved the leg, although there was a question about amputation. After 6 months of rehabilitation, Vardan learned to walk again. And after recovery, I decided that medicine was the best profession and the goal of becoming a surgeon appeared.
Since 2010, the doctor has been actively involved in aesthetic surgery. In the first years, he was engaged in complex minimally invasive techniques for facial rejuvenation, under local anesthesia, which he taught to doctors in Russia and Europe.
Since 2013, he has been using his own developments with gluing sutures during the following operations: blepharoplasty, augmentation mammoplasty, mastopexy, reduction mammoplasty, abdominoplasty, simultaneous (complex) surgical interventions, revision (repeated) surgical interventions in various areas.
Vardan Khachatryan is one of the leading specialists in the Russian Federation in complex cases of breast lift with and without implants.
