Valeri Dimitrov (born October 24, 1981) is a Bulgarian Kyokushin Karateka (Shinkyokushinkai Karate 5-dan) from Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

He won a Silver medal in The 13th World Championships of WKO,2023.[1][2][3] [4]

He became the branch president of Shinkyokushinkai Bulgaria in 2018.[5]

As 2019, he won Karate European Championship for 19 times.[6]

Valeri Dimitrov is Plovdiv's "Sportsman #1" for 2018. In 2022, he was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of Plovdiv" for his great successes.[7]

Valeri Dimitrov was famous that making the technique of "Valeri Kick," a low kick with the heel.Since the 8th World Championships in 2003, he played a part of a total of six appearances in the World Championships. [8]

He is the father of two girls aged 10 and 13. His whole family is involved in karate.[9]
