  • Comment: The sources aren't quite enough to establish notability per WP:GNG: #1 is about an exhibition of his; 2 makes only one passing mention; 3 seems pretty solid, but alone isn't enough; and 4 just confirms the receipt of the Pro Finlandia medal. Väinö Rouvinen (b. September 12th, 1932) is a Finnish printmaker and graphic artists.

Career

His work began in the 1950s, and continued into a more abstract style in the 1960s with influences from fairytales and romantic art.[1] Rouvinen's work since has mostly consisted of surreal aquatint landscapes.[2] He appeared on the show Kuva, tansse, teatteri in 1977 to discuss his work.[3] He won the Pro Finlandia Medal in 1987.[4]
