Richard Chirkin was born on August 18, 1994 in the city Chekhov (Moscow Oblast, Russia). Nothing is known about Richard’s childhood and youth, since the video blogger himself did not talk about it.

Personal life edit

Since 2016, married to Olga Ulina.

Creation edit

On May 1, 2008, a channel called «FenX08» was created on YouTube videohosting, but the first video was released only 4 years later. A year later, on December 5, 2009, the next channel was created, which would become Richard’s main channel until it was deleted on December 8, 2016. Since 2011, the channel began publishing let’s plays for games such as Minecraft, Battlefield, Happy Wheels, Dead Space, Fallout, etc.

In 2012, his channel took fourth place in the Russian ranking of the most popular channels by the number of subscribers and the most popular let's play on Russian YouTube. In the same year, Richard was accused of plagiarizing foreign videoblogger PewDiePie, from copying emotions to content.

In 2016, Richard criticized Titanfall 2. The videoblogger said that you can only buy the game on Origin, which is owned by Electronic Arts, and accordingly, the sales of this game with all the marketing also belong to it. After the game was released on Origin, the online part of the game went into decline, and the best solution should be to release the game on Steam[6].

On December 7 of the same year, a video titled «Я удаляю свой канал» (English: «I’m deleting my channel») was released on the UselessMouth channel, where Richard announced the actual deletion of his channel. The reason for this action was that the channel had problems with views, which received less than 10% of the number of subscribers, as well as financial problems with the channel. The videoblogger also noted that he is “starting everything from scratch” and creating a new channel with the name «Юзя». According to statistics, about 50+K subscribers subscribed to the channel in the first day. The next day december 8 the channel was deleted accordingly[7]. Viewers noted that he did this on occasion together with another foreign videoblogger PewDiePie, who also announced the deletion of his channel as soon as he reaches 50M subscribers, but this was a «joke» from Felix[8].

On December 9 of the same year, Richard appeared in the 576th episode on the YouTube channel «This is Хорошо», replacing temporary host Stas Davydov[9].

In 2017, he released a promotional video for the Nintendo Switch gaming console on the new channel, which became the most successful on Richard’s channel. As of March 2024, the video ad has 12M views and 277K likes[10].

In December 2017, he criticized YouTube Rewind 2017 for showing content that did not correspond to the topic of the video[11].

In 2018, he got a job as a game designer at 1C (formerly GameStudios), in the team developing the game Caliber[12]. In November of the same year he announced that he had quit[13].

On April 1, 2018, Richard once again releases a video about deleting his channel. The blogger criticized the video platform due to big problems with income from partner media networks. Despite this statement, the video turned out to be an «April Fool's joke»[14].

In 2019, he published a «fan» promotional video for the game Overwatch for the Nintendo Switch game console on his YouTube channel. The advertisement was also successful, as was the advertisement with the console itself[15].

In 2020, publishes a «fan» trailer for the game Death Stranding[16].

After a long lull, on March 27, 2022, a video was published on the «Юзя» YouTube channel in which Richard announced his official return to YouTube video hosting. The main idea of this video was communication with the audience. He also raised the topic that he continues to develop games on Unity, Unreal Engine 4 and create maps for the game Counter-Strike 2 (formerly Counter-Strike: Global Offensive)[17]. As of March 2024, no videos have been released on his channel since then.

Cybersport edit

In 2016, Richard took part in a “star” match in the game Overwatch with Mikhail Galustyan, Stas Davydov, Alexey Zharkov, Danil Gavrilov and Roman Gagatun, but the victory went to the team Natan's[18].

From November 8 to December 17, 2021, he took part in the Gigabit Battle cybertournament for the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive[19], however, the yMen9loss team won[20]
