Tom Fleming is an English singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, originally from Kendal, Cumbria.[1]
Career edit
From 2005 to 2018, Fleming was a member of the indie pop band Wild Beasts.[2] The band released five studio albums on Domino Records to much critical acclaim, yet only modest commercial success.[3] Following the band's breakup, Fleming pursued a solo career, under the guise 'One True Pairing' and released his debut album of the same name through Domino in September 2019.[4] He followed this up with an EP, Zero Vulnerability, in 2020. [5]
Musical style and influences edit
Fleming possesses a baritone vocal style, which countered Thorpe's more flamboyant countertenor voice during their time in Wild Beasts.[6]
