Biography

edit

Thierry Rayer, born on December 5, 1967, developed a passion for history and art as a teenager.

Thierry Rayer devoted his life to the in-depth study of the national archives and the works bequeathed by Pierre Rayer, an eminent doctor and academician of the nineteenth century. This legacy, whose library contained more than 10,000 volumes covering various fields such as science, medicine, history and fine arts, led him to explore the interactions between art, science and culture, leading him to develop an innovative method of interdisciplinary analysis.

Contributions and Activities

edit

In 2018, Thierry Rayer founded the Cercle d'Études Scientifiques Pierre Rayer (CESR), an association that aims to promote access to art and culture through conferences, workshops, and expertise of works of art. Inspired by the work and research of Pierre Rayer, the CESR is distinguished by its "Universæ Analysis" methodology, an interdisciplinary scientific approach to the interpretation of art and architecture.

Universæ Analysis

edit

Thierry Rayer is the originator of the "Universæ Analysis" methodology,[2] which integrates various disciplines such as biology, geometry, Egyptology, and religious[3] studies to offer a new perspective on the analysis of works of art. This methodology was presented at the Vision Golfe 2024 event, under the high patronage of President Emmanuel Macron, thus strengthening cultural cooperation between France and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).[4]

Philanthropy through the CESR

edit

Thierry Rayer exercises his philanthropy through the CESR. The association supports various cultural and humanitarian initiatives. The CESR is a patron of the Louvre Museum in Paris and the Louvre Abu Dhabi,[5][6] highlighting Rayer's commitment to the preservation of the world's cultural heritage.

Conferences and Presentations

edit

Thierry Rayer has participated in several internationally renowned conferences, where he presented his work and the advances of the "Universæ Analysis" methodology. Among the notable places where he intervened, we can mention:

  • UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, where he presented the cultural and educational implications of his research, under the patronage of the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia[7]
  • Headquarters of the House of Lanvin in Paris, where he presented his work on the work of Brancusi[8]
  • "Universae Analysis" conference organized at the Alliance Française in Dubai, under the patronage of the French National Commission for UNESCO and the United Arab Emirates National Commission for Education, Culture and Science
