The Sac were a rock band created in the 1980’s, forming in Southampton. Note-able members include Russell Jones, who played the drums. They covered rock hits from the 1980’s, a feature song which was included in their sets was The Jam’s hit ‘Down at the tube station at midnight’ from their 1978 album ‘All the Mod Cons’. Notable gig for the sack during the mid 80’s was The Joiner’s arms located in Southampton, UK, which has been the starting point for many upcoming bands.
