The Jester is a 2023 American slasher horror thriller film, directed and written by Colin Krawchuk. The film follows a malevolent named "The Jester", who terrorizes the inhabitants of a small town on Halloween night.
The film got an limited theatrical release in the United States on September 29, 2023, and was released to VOD on October 3.

editThe film received generally negative reviews. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 22% of 9 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 4.5/10.[1] In a negative review, Phil Hoad of The Guardian stated "Writer-director Colin Krawchuk saddles us with a poorly written, lead-footed plot delivered in stodgy lumps between killings."[2]
