The Holy Forefathers Greek Orthodox Church

The Holy Forefathers Greek Orthodox Church is a Greek Orthodox church in Beit Sahour, east of Bethlehem. The church belongs to the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, and has around 10,000 congregation members.

The Church building was constructed under the auspices of the Jerusalem Patriarch Gerasmos in 1895 AD.

In early 1940 AD, an earthquake hit the region and led to the destruction of the building, which was then rebuilt in 1952 AD at the time of the Patriarch Timothy I.
