Tarek Ziadé is a French computer scientist who lives and works in France. He is a figure in the Python community, known for his contributions to Python development, in particular the creation of Flake8[1][2] and package management[3][4]. Ziadé is a founding member of the AFPy in 2004[5], an association representing the French Python developer community, and is also known for his support of the Open Source Software movement.

He graduated from Université de Bourgogne in 2000[6] and has worked as a software engineer at Mozilla Corporation working on Firefox since 2010, with a 2-year break at Elastic NV.

Ziadé is also an author, having written several books on Python programming [7][8] and microservices[9].
