Talaya Waller is an American businesswoman, professor and author of Personal Brand Management: Marketing Human Value. She is the founder and CEO of Valuables, Inc, an enterprise software company. She is also a professor at Duke Corporate Education.

Waller earned a Doctorate of Business Administration in 2015, at the age of 30 years old.[1] She completed an executive education course at Harvard in 2011 and holds a BSc and an MBA degree in Managerial Sciences focused on Entrepreneurship.[2]

Waller has done research work on the qualitative and quantitative methods of measuring personal brand value, the impact of personal branding on labor markets, and the relationship between personal brand management and organizational behavior.[3] As of 2020, her methodology is being developed into a patent-pending software that integrates data and personal brand management within universities and corporations.[4]
Waller was the founder and CEO of Waller & Company, a Washington DC-based personal brand management consultancy, servicing clients including Federal Reserve Board and House Democratic Caucus. As of 2021, she is the founder and CEO of Valuables, Inc, an enterprise software company.[5][4]
Waller was an instructor at Maryland Institute College of Art,[6] was a guest professor at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil and is a professor at Duke Corporate Education.[3] She has been a visiting professor at several universities and has delivered personal branding guest lectures to students in the United States, Poland, Australia, Switzerland, Chile, South Korea, and South Africa.[7][8][9]
Waller is also a public speaker and in 2018, she gave a TEDx talk on her personal branding insights, titled “The Future of Branding is Personal.” She is author of the book, Personal Brand Management: Marketing Human Value which was released in April 2020 by Springer.[2]

Waller has been awarded the Presidential Alumni Research Dissemination Award for her research work on marketing strategies of mobile game application entrepreneurs.[10]
