Draft:Taiga Talan (Cat)

Early Life (0-4) edit

Taiga Talan was born on March 14th 2019, in the Talan Cattery in Saratov, Russia[1][2][3]. She was the youngest of 4 kittens born to Vita Manchzhury and Willi or Villi Talan[4][5]. Growing up, Taiga was called "Jaklin" or "Jaki" due to her being born in Litter J.[6] Taiga's only brother was seen as the pride of the Litter J and was easily sold several weeks after being born[7]. Taiga also was sold easily and was shipped to Canada. The whereabouts of Taigas Litter mates are still unknown but it is believed that they found homes somewhere in the Americas. Taiga was then bought by Lavalier Cattery[8], where she was supposed to be used for breeding purposes. It is believed that Taiga had kittens but disliked them and possibility ate them. Taiga was also very small for a Siberian Forest Cat. Due to these reasons, Taiga was put up for sale again at the age of 3. Taiga's wait did not take long and she was given to a loving home for $1000 CAD, plus medical expenses. Taiga's name was changed from "Jaklin" to "Taiga" and it would remain that way forever. It took a few days until Taiga got used to her surroundings and her 3rd family. Taiga began eating food, drinking water, and playing around 1 or 2 weeks after arriving. In late spring, when Taiga was 4, she started going outside on her leach. Despite the leash, she still killed a Baby Robin, A mouse, 2 Chipmunks, and fatally wounded several other rodents. Taiga began to get much more supervision outdoors after these murders. Then, Taiga went missing in early 2022. The surrounding area was searched, but, Taiga was not found. Then noises began being heard and they were investigated. The noises were coming from Taiga, who was trapped in a drawer and was meowing to alert surrounding people. Taiga had been found in good condition.

Adulthood (5-8) edit

Soon after turning 5, Taiga began acting weird. After an investigation it was concluded that Taiga was staying up until very late hours, looking out of a window for another cat. The cat often roamed freely outdoors during the nights and had killed at least 30 rodents in his lifetime. Taiga began having panic attacks and sleep issues. Thankfully, after intervention from humans, Taiga became normal again and her mental health improved rapidly. Soon after turning 6, Taiga began coughing, sneezing and acting strangely. Originally it was thought to be a cold, but she was brought to the vent just in case. Taiga was diagnosed with a Respiratory tract infection (RTI) probably due to stress. It turns out that Taiga was receiving visits from the same cat she had been harassed by the previous year. Taiga was given medications for 3 weeks until she recovered. Taiga also began to developing a routine that she followed every day. She would wake up at 6:00 AM and eat. Then she would sleep and look/go outside for the rest of the day. Taiga's life remained peaceful for several months. Then, Taiga created a new way to get attention. She would pick up a bath robe tie in her mouth and drag it around the house, while meowing for attention.Taiga proceeded using this technique, as while as others, to get attention from humans.
