Tashar (/tæˈshæ̃r/), officially the State of Tashar is a micronation inside Algeria. It is not recognized by any of the UN countries. Tashar is ruled by the Shakar (Arabic: شاكر , romanized: Shakir) is a position that is used as the title of rulers who claim almost full sovereignty of the nation. The term originated in Tashar. Most Tasharis are a part of The Shauduja, which is a group of people who are a mix of Arabs and Indians originating in Tashar.
