Starup (German: Starup) is a town located on the southern shore of Haderslev Fjord with a population of 2,490 (1 January 2024).[1] It is a satellite community to Haderslev 3 km to the west.

Sønder Starup Church built around the year 1100 is located on the northern outskirts of the town right next to the shore of Haderslev Fjord.[2]
