Stöckli is a Swiss ski brand headquartered in the village of Malters, near Lucerne.

The brand was founded in 1935 by Josef Stöckli, when he made 50 skis. It has grown since then to produce around 70,000 pairs of skis annually.

History edit

Founded in Switzerland in 1935, the company was the first to introduce a wooden ski with a fluted top and a ridge down its middle. It was also the second company, after Head, to introduce a metal laminate ski.[1]

In 2013, the Stöckli family gave up control of the company by selling their shares to another Swiss family, the Kaufmanns.[2]

In 2023, Stöckli appointed Mark Wingard as its North American race and promotions manager.[3]

Marco Odermatt both used Stöckli skis in competition and represents the brand.
