This partnership, signed on June 26, 2023, in Conakry[7] in the presence of media, aims to promote Guinean cinema internationally through joint initiatives in training, financing, and networking. According to Abdoulaye Traoré, General Director of SGCM and FIFE delegate for Guinea, this agreement will ensure the successful organization of the festival in Guinea and make it a platform for films addressing crucial social themes such as peace and women's rights.

The FIFE 2023, held for the first time in Guinea from September 21 to 23, 2023, at the NOOM hotel, was themed "Women and Peace in the World." Over these three days, SGCM organized screenings of documentaries and short films on these themes. Training workshops, including framing and directing, were also conducted to enhance the skills of local filmmakers.

The General Director of ONACIG, Noël Lamah, stated that this partnership represents a joint effort to address the challenges facing the film industry in Guinea, particularly in terms of training and promotion of local films. This partnership also mobilizes institutional resources to support the development of Guinean cinema through FIFE[8], which takes place in 18 countries worldwide.
