Shishir Raj Dhakal is the district judge serving at Kathmandu District Court in Nepal.[1] He is also the Secretary of the Judges Society, the professional organisation of Nepalese judges.[2][3]

Dhakal was born on 21 October 1966 in Syangja District. He has an LLM degree. [4]
Decisions edit
Dhakal is known for convicting Nepal's national cricket player, Sandeep Lamichhane, on a count of raping a girl by taking advantage of her poverty. The case had been pending in the court for more than a year. [5]
