Shane Sheets (born in Litchfield, Minnesota) is a Minnesota politician, Mayor of Green Isle, Minnesota, former candidate for Minnesota House of Representatives Seat 17B (R).[1]

Sheets received a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota[2] and his Bachelors of Science from Liberty University. He is the current director for a large medical examiners office in Minnesota[3][4] where he was awarded the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal 2023 Health Care Hero Award for his ability to maintain critical public health and public safety operations during unprecedented times.[5] He resides in Green Isle, Minnesota, along with his wife, Sarah, and two children, Elijah and Emma.

In 2019, Sheets was elected to the City of Green Isle City Council, and was appointed Mayor for the City of Green Isle in 2022.[6][7]

As of 2023, Shane was nominated to serve as the President-Elect for the International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners (IACME).[8]
