Shalya Deo Singh was an Indian Politician and Iron (iron-scrap) Mafia Don of Bokaro Steel City,Jharkhand.
He was also known for his dominance over Jharkhand,Bihar,Mumbai and also participated in scrap auctions of the Bokaro Steel Plant held at Delhi,Mumbai,Rajasthan etc.He had his bodyguard Bhola Singh and had also kept sharp shooters Mukhiya and Raghunath Singh who worked for him.
He was affectionally called "BOSS" by his followers.Many politicians took his help in elections as he had very strong influence on people of Bihar. Furthermore,he also saved many Sikhs from the riots of 1984 operation blue star.
During the riot Sikh families came to him for help in order to save their lives.So he helped them and rescued many by providing them shelter in his own house and office with full security by guards with weapons.In addition to that ,after receiving information that there are many who are stuck at different places, he took round on his most iconic white gypsy "BPW 17" in the whole district and rescued many.
