Samsung Free is an application on Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets, integrated in One UI and accessible from the homescreen swiping to the right. Samsung call it a "one-stop entertainment center."[1]

Samsung Free consists of four sections:

  • Watch: streams television content from Samsung TV Plus
  • Listen: streams podcasts from Samsung Podcasts, which includes publishers such as (in the United States) American Public Radio, CNN Audio, iHeartRadio and NPR;[2][3] content depends on region and the service is not available in certain regions like South Korea[4]
  • Read: aggregates news, including from Upday for users in Europe
  • Play: instantly allows users to play a number of casual games without requiring installations

Samsung Free launched in 2020 replacing Samsung Daily, which itself replaced Bixby Home before it.[5][6] In 2023, Samsung Free was replaced by a new Samsung News for users in the United States.[7][8]
