Sam Tejada (born January 22, 1987, in the Dominican Republic) is an American entrepreneur, author, retired firefighter/paramedic and healthcare leader.[citation needed] He is the President and founder of Liquivida, a wellness center based in the United States.[citation needed]

Early life and career edit

Tejada was born in the Dominican Republic on January 22, 1987. His family migrated from the Dominican Republic to the United States when he was seven months old. At the age of 14, Tejada was a trained and certified lifeguard hired through the Milwaukee public school system. He started his first business Rescue101 at the age of 19, providing the American Red Cross lifeguard training course to teach others to become certified lifeguards, training them about health, safety and crisis prevention.[1]

In 2007, he joined the City of Oakland Park as a Paramedic and Firefighter. In 2013, Tejada founded Liquivida as a concept from the Coconut Creek wellness spa.[citation needed] He serves as the president and founder of the company till date.[citation needed]
