Sai Abhyankkar, (born 14 February 2003) is an Indian singer, composer and programmer from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is well known for his independent debut single as a singer, composer titled 'Katchi Sera'.[1]" and Aasa Kooda[2]
Early life and education
editSai Abhyankar's was born in Chennai. His parents are Tippu and Harini, both accomplished playback singers.[3] He grew up in a musical environment and explored his interest in programming. He attended Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School.[4]
He plays the keyboard, guitar, and drums. He is pursuing a degree in computer science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.[5]
Career
editAbhyankar had his debut as a playback singer in the Tamil film Thirumanam in 2019. His rendition of the 'Thirumanam Theme' and a duet with his mother Harini, titled 'Nee Azhagaa', received acclaim.[citation needed] In 2020, Sai released a single 'Katchi Sera', blending Tamil and English lyrics, which gained widespread popularity on social media platforms, accumulating over 135+ million views on YouTube.[citation needed] His next single was 'Aasa Kooda', which trended on social media with over 15+ million views on Youtube.[6]
