The SWAP (short for "Some Work, All Play") Adventure Team is a distance running team started in 2013 and coached by trail runners David Roche and Megan Roche, MD.[1][2][3] Megan Roche currently conducts research in sports injury at Stanford University.[4] David Roche previously worked as an attorney for the Environmental Law Institute and is a contributor to Outside and affiliate projects Trailrunner Magazine and RUN.[5][6][7][8]

SWAP Adventure Team members compete in track and field, road running, mountain running, ultramarathon, and trail running. Recent pro team accomplishments include Clare Gallagher winning the 2022 Leadville Trail 100, Grayson Murphy winning the 2023 World Mountain Running Championships in the Up and Downhill Mountain class, John Kelly finishing the Barkley Marathons in 2023 and 2024, and Allie Ostrander qualifying for the 2024 US Olympic Trials.[9][10][11][12][13]
