Ruya Bayegan is Group CEO of BGN, an international energy and commodities trading company. She is part of the family who founded Bayegan.

Early Life edit

A Serbian-Turkish national, Ruya graduated in 1992 from the Newbury College University in Boston in 1992, and moved back to Turkey to start working in the family business.

Career edit

Earlier in her career, she was recognized as one of the most prominent personalities in the petrochemical industry and has been listed among the top 50 most powerful people in the Middle East energy sector.[1]

She currently heads BGN and has been involved in all of the major deals, including the $170 Million deal with IHC in 2021[2] and more recently the join venture with Pertamina [3]
