The Russian Academy of Natural History (RAE) (Russian: Российская Академия Естествознания) is a Russian non-governmental organization founded on March 15 1985 in Moscow in the former Soviet Union, at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
As of 2018,[update] its president is Mikhail Yurievich Ledvanov, the Assistant to the Chief Scientist, is Tatiana Vladimirovna Shnurovozova]], and the Secretary is Natalia Yurievna Stukova.
The Russian Academy of Natural History is a fully independent organization and is not associated with the Russian Government-funded Russian Academy of Sciences.
