The Riyadh – Kuwait City high-speed railway (Arabic: الرياض – مدينة الكويت السكك الحديدية السريعة) was a project designed to link the cities of of both countries like Kuwait and Saudi Arabia cities like Riyadh and Kuwait City through a 115 km (71 mi)[1] high-speed rail network. The agreement was approved during a cabinet session in NEOM, chaired by Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the both Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. It will be first railway service in Kuwait and sixth railway service in Saudi Arabia. This comes after Kuwait approved the pact in June for safe and effective rail transport with the Kingdom. This railway is not related to GCC Railway.
