Ripe! is a 2024 short film written and directed by the duo Tusk (Kerry Furrh and Olivia Mitchell). It premiered at the Tribeca Festival on June 8, 2024.
Plot

Production
editBefore making Ripe!, Furrh and Mitchell primarily directed in music videos and commercials. They wrote an outline for Ripe! while on vacation at a farm in rural Catalonia in 2022.[1][2] They secured production from Barcelona-based company Japonica Films, and Juxtapose Studio co-founder Luke Anderson recruited his college friend and professional soccer player Kelley O'Hara and her fiancée Kameryn Stanhouse to executive produce the film.[1][3] O'Hara also advised the shoot on soccer elements.[3] Rita Roca was cast as Gloria after Furrh and Mitchell met her when she was a waitress at a restaurant in Spain.[2]
