Rex is a supporting character in the Toy Story franchise, he is a plastic toy dinosaur.

Appearances edit

Toy Story edit

In Toy Story, Rex is first seen when Andy was playing with his toys, later Rex has his first speaking role when he scares Woody fearing that Andy will replace him with another Dinosaur. Then when Andy was about to open his last present Rex gets worried and talks to the baby monitor and say what is it, then he knocks it down? Rex and the other toys went back to their places when Andy and his friends were going upstairs to drop Buzz to the bedroom, Rex is next seen asking Woody who was Andy's new toy, Rex was relived that it wasn't a Dinosaur replacing him, Rex as well as !Andy's toys were giving Buzz all the attention but not to Woody, later when Andy's mum sugge him to bring a toy to Pizza planet Woody accidentally knocked Buzz out of the window and Rex didn't know if he was in Woodys side or buzzs side as he didn't like confiscation, Rex is next seen trying to use the barrel of monkeys to help buzz, then he was seen when Woody was in sid house he got excited but when rex saw Buzzs arm was broken he got sick and the last night of andy's old house Rex and Mr. Potato Head were moving buddy's as everyone else was picked,the next morning when they were moving out Rex saw Woody throwing RC out of the moving van to save Buzz, Rex thought he was doing it so Andy would play with him more, so Rex, Rocky Gibraltar, Mr. Potato Head and many of Andy's other toys tried to throw him back. A few months later, when Rex and the other toys were settled in Andy's new home, Rex lamented having wanted Andy to get a new dinosaur toy, but they had a Happy Christmas anyway.

Toy Story 2 edit

In Toy Story 2, Rex is first seen playing the Buzz Lightyear Game. He gets frustrated when he looses and says "I Will never defeat Zurg!". then Buzz says "I'm sure you will Rex your a better at Buzz then I am" but Eex doesn't think so as his arms are too small and he can't press the two buttons at the same time. A few moments later Bo Peep's Sheep try to steal Rex's remote controller and he falls over and accidentally turned on the tv he couldn't find the turn off botton as her was changing the channels instead, so Hamm turned it off for him and he says "despise that chicken". Later on When Al McWhiggins steals Woody from a yard sale Rex is one of the toys that goes with Buzz to Rescue Woody. Rex wasn't focused of saving Woody he was focused on how to defeat Zurg. Later When Rex tries to save Buzz from Zurg his tail knocked him off the elevator then his goal worked, so later when Hamm was trying to defeat Zurg Rex didn't play as he thinks he already defeat Zurg. Rex is last seen during Wheezy's song of You Got a Friend in Me.

Toy Story 3 edit

Rex returns in Toy Story 3.

Toy Story 4 edit

Rex returns in Toy Story 4.

Other appearances edit

Rex had appeared in many other Toy Story Productions. He had a main in the Toy Story Toons short film Partysaurus Rex and appeared in the Toy Story television interstitial shorts called Toy Story Treats, Rex also appeared as a supporting character in other shorts such as Hawaiian Vacation and Small Fry, and television specials such as Toy Story of Terror! and Toy Story That Time Forgot. He is seen doing pushups in a the Pixar Popcorn short film To Fitness and Beyond.

Rex makes two appearance in non-Toy Story-related Pixar films: as an Easter Egg in WALL-E, and in the outbacks of Monsters, Inc..
