Features edit
Every Friday, 'DJ Jayo' (Gilbourne) 'visits' has a one minute segment to introduce (including puns from listeners) and play a song from listeners. After the 16:00 news headlines, the highly anticipated 'Mix it Friday', an uninterupted 30 minute mix of songs, is played.
The show is also home to the broadcast of Today FM's Cash Machine call, usually after 15:30, whereby listeners across the GoLoud network text a premium rate number, and if called back they must quote a five (or sometimes six) figure sum (which is usually announced at the top of the every hour since 17:00 the weekday before) to win that cash amount, but only if they answer within five rings. The call is usually made by 98FM presenter Barry Dunne, though is sometimes made by Foley.
