RENNSPORT is a racing video game jointly developed by Competition Company and Teyon, and published by Competition Company.[1][2] A full release date is not yet known, however, the game is currently available as a closed beta on the Epic Game Store.[3]

Their aim is to produce an ultra-realistic racing simulation experience, combined with custom Unreal Engine 5 graphics.[4] RENNSPORT includes both real-world and community developed tracks, alongside vehicles from numerous disciplines of motorsport.[5][6][7] The game also features a free-to-download Mobile app that links to players' accounts and records in-game progress.[8]

Gameplay edit

In RENNSPORT, players can drive in single player offline or against human players online multiplayer. Players drive vehicles that interact realistically with track surfaces and they must account for tire wear and vehicle damage in order to drive effectively.[9] The game features a rating system, as well as a safety rating system to determine how good a player is.

RENNSPORT is currently the host game for ESL R1 and the Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Deutschland 2024.[10][11][12][13][14][15]

Companion App edit

The RENNSPORT Companion app is a free-to-download Mobile app available on the App Store and Google Play. [16][17] In September 2023, it was announced that with the launch of the app, players would be able to track their in-game progress, achievements and access global leaderboards. Other features included news, esports events, a digital garage and access to race data; such as live timing and telemetry.[18]
