Queer Planet is a 2024 nature documentary series about homosexuality and bisexuality in animals, directed and produced by Ed Watkins. The series is narrated by Andrew Rannells.

editThe documentary is split into several parts. It talks about some of the animal species which exhibit LGBT behavior, including lions, giraffes, and clownfish.
Reception
editThe film was generally received well by critics, with a particular emphasis on the series' wit and use of humor.[1][2] Matthew Rozsa of Salon.com wrote, "Queerness is everywhere in nature, despite claims to the contrary, and 'Queer Planet' underlines that sexual diversity isn't an anomaly. It's worth celebrating."[3]
However, the series elicited backlash from some for its alleged political agenda. Several conservative political commentators criticized it, including Tomi Lahren.[4]
