The Queer Digital History Project (QDHP) is an independent archival project that documents pre-2010 LGBTQ+ online spaces and information. Avery Dame-Griff, a lecturer at Gonzaga University in Women’s and Gender Studies is the prime caretaker and founder of the Queer Digital History Project. [1]

Overview edit

The archival project has an included catalog of the first spanning LGTBQ+ online communities. It also contains an archive of transgender related Usenet news outlet groups. Interactive maps are also included of the first international transgender fixed Bulletin Board System networks. Along with documentations from early LGBTQ+ communities that date back between the mid 1980s to the late 2000s.
