Prophet is an upcoming American sci-fi action film directed by Sam Hargrave, written by Kurt Johnstad, based on the comic book of the same name by Rob Liefeld.
Plot

editOn July 11, 2018, Studio 8 acquired the rights to adapt Rob Liefeld’s comic book character Prophet with Liefeld, Adrian Askarieh and Brooklyn Weaver attached to produce through Prime Universe Films.[1] On October 8, 2021, Sam Hargrave was set to direct, Marc Guggenheim would write the screenplay, and Jake Gyllenhaal was casted in the film.[2] On October 21, 2022, Kurt Johnstad was hired to write the screenplay and Gyllenhaal, John Graham, Jeff Robinov, John Schoenfelder and Russel Ackerman credited as producers with Liefeld, Askarieh, and Weaver.[3]
