Draft:Pere de Castellet and Icart

Pere de Castellet i d'Icart was the Bishop of Urgell and co-prince of Andorra.[1]

He was a defender of the Catholic faith. He acted against the Huguenots who were entering Catalonia through Urgell. This prevented him from attending the Council of Trent in Catalonia.[2]

In 1566, he commissioned the Dominican Pere Martir Coma to publish a widely circulated counter-reformist manual.
