Pasibus is a prominent Polish fast food chain specializing in gourmet burgers. Established in 2013 in Wrocław, Poland, by Dawid Bojarojć, Piotr Staszczyński, and Jan Kulisiewicz, the brand has expanded significantly, with numerous locations across Poland.[1]

History

edit

Pasibus started as a food truck venture, with the first truck, named "Pasibus Dziadzio" (eng. "Pasibus Grandpa") serving its first burgers on August 21, 2013. The success of this initial venture led to the addition of more food trucks, including "Pasibus Junior" in 2014 and "Pasiczepa" in 2015. By 2016, the fleet had expanded to include "Pasibydlak", a large food truck designed for mass events.[2]

The first stationary restaurant, "Przystanek Pasibus", opened on February 10, 2015, in Wrocław.[2] This was followed by several more locations in Wrocław and other cities, including Warsaw, Łódź, Katowice, Lublin, Gdynia, and Bydgoszcz.[3]

edit

Pasibus is renowned for its burgers made from 100% beef, but its menu also includes options with fried cheese, breaded chicken, and vegetarian patties.[4] The brand is known for its creative approach to burger-making, offering both classic and seasonal options. Each month, a new “Burger of the Month” is introduced, featuring unique ingredients and flavors.

Expansion and Locations

edit

As of 2023, Pasibus operates 28 stationary locations and 4 food trucks across 15 cities in Poland. The brand continues to expand, with new locations opening regularly. Notable locations include multiple restaurants in Wrocław, as well as outlets in major shopping centers and high-traffic areas.

Awards and Recognition

edit

Pasibus has received several awards for its innovative approach to fast food. In 2015, the brand won first place at the Burger Championships held at the PGE National Stadium. It has also been recognized with the Food Business Awards in 2020 and was listed among the "30 Creative People of Wrocław".
