History
editParseq, originally named Documetric in 2007, was founded in 2010.[3]
Documetric was formed in 2007 through the acquisition of Atos Origin's data capture division.[4]
In 2010, Documetric merged with AIM-listed IE PLC, forming Parseq PLC under the ownership of Rami Cassis.[5][6][7][4] Parseq PLC included both Parseq and ieDigital, becoming part of Parabellum Investments portfolio.[8][9]
In 2013, Parseq expanded its BPO presence in the UK by acquiring The Panther Group.[10]
In 2016, the company sold Pell & Bales, a fundraising agency, which later faced liquidation following public backlash over its cold calling practices.[11]
In 2022, Parseq had a turnover of £9.8 million.[12]
In 2019, Parseq extended with branches in Chennai, India, and acquired companies in Sofia and Plovdiv, Bulgaria.[13] In 2022, it merged with Column Software, forming Parseq Asia Pvt Ltd, focusing on trading in India.[14][15][1]
In 2023, Parseq shut down its Chennai office and acquired the TALL Group of Companies Ltd, including all its trading entities.[14][15][16] As of January 2024, Parseq handles approximately £36 billion in payments, digitizes 70 million documents, prints 117 million secure documents, and has completed over 220 IT implementation projects globally.[17]
Parseq invested in mental health training, with 27 champions trained by 2023, constituting 16% of its workforce.[18]
