Draft:Otto Niemeyer-Holstein

Otto Niemeyer-Holstein (1896 – 1984) was a German pos-impressionist painter. His work focused on seascapes in the area of Usedom. His studio and estate is now a museum [1]. Achim Roscher wrote an extensive biography of the artist[2]. In addition to his career as a painter, the book describes many aspects of Otto Niemeyer-Holstein's adventurous life in postwar Germany.
