Oriel Aps (Born in 1999) is a musician and artist known for her digital fusion pop music and contemporary mix media art. [1]

Oriel Aps is a stage name used for Millicent Oriel Aps, who was born on 8th July 1999 in the UK. [2]
Career edit
Millicent (Oriel Aps) started music at a young age learning violin at the age of 6 however didn't proceed to grades. Additionally, she also received piano lessons but also didn't proceed to grades as she struggled to read the sheet music, due to her undiagnosed dyslexia.
As a teenager, Millicent wrote songs without instrumental and would keep recordings on a. Family iPod. At 15 she received her first Apple Mac where she learnt to use Garageband began creating music from scratch using a musical typing feature, using her musical ear.
She published her first album 'The Wanderer and the Ghost' in 2018.
At Lancaster University she joined a indie band called Leopardstripes as the leadsinger and songwriter and published a couple of singles in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
After university and band ended and Millicent continued to work on her solo music under her stage name Oriel Aps.
She wrote and published her first self-produced album 'What Do You Want' in 2021 and produced and released 12 singles in 2023 while working full time and studying her her masters degree in Commercial Real Estate.
Oriel will release her next album 'When It Rains' in 2024, which will also be produced, written and sung by Oriel.
